Summary
This is my version of a spinner for small hands. It uses one 22mm 608 bearing, and three 1/2" bearing balls.
If printed correctly the balls can rotate freely in the arms, but cannot be removed. See instructions for inserting the balls.
The polygonal edges, and the rotating balls add an additional dimension to the classic spinner.
All that remains is to print the button/axle of your choice. I like this one: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2049812 it's what appears in the photos.

If the balls rotate freely, but cannot be installed/removed then the print turned out right. If the balls are too tight, or fall out, check your tolerances.
Post-Printing
Installing the balls
I put the arms one at a time into very hot water (straight from my keurig) for 10 seconds, then immediately forced the ball into place. It took a lot of force. I put the part on top of the ball and pressed down hard with the palm of my hand. Once the plastic cooled the ball was impossible to remove but rotated freely.
