Parametric Wire Shelves (1/18 scale)
Free
Summary Do you figures keep tripping over things? Too much clutter in the headquarters? Make them some wire shelves to keep things nice and orderly. There are a few variations here- small (25mm), medium (50mm) and large (70mm) shelves, but you can use the customizer to make shelves to a custom dimension. I've also included two different lengths of upright poles (50mm and 80mm), but you can use our customizable basic cylinder to create custom lengths. If you do, be sure to set the radius to 1.5mm. Alternatively, any 3mm rod will work just as well. If you like this sort of thing and want to see more, be sure to follow us on Twitter and/or join the discussion on our Facebook page Post-Printing There are small gaps in the cylindrical parts of the shelves, in order to allow them to spread a bit to accommodate the uprights. The gap is small, though, so you'll likely want to run an exacto knife between them before attempting to insert the uprights. It can be a bit tricky to get everything level- I recommend adding all of your shelves to your poles and sliding things around until the shelves are level. Once that's as you like it, add a drop of superglue to each of the places where a shelf touches an upright to make things permanent. Enjoy!
