Summary Customizable crates! Useful for all of your 1/18 scale shipping needs. Need to ship some contraband? Crates! Need to set up an appropriately industrial backdrop? Crates! Figures need something to stand on to reach the top shelf? Crates! Distressed about the current political climate? Probably not crates, sadly. You can create the crate, the lid, or both. If you create both, the lid should snap into the top of the crate. If you choose to add handle holes, a set of two holes will be added on either side- run a bit of string through them to simulate rope handles. In order to get a good snap-fit, I usually Take a flat needle file to the inside edges of the planks that stick up from the box Run an exacto knife along each side of the lid where it touches the vertical planks Be careful to remove just a little bit at a time and test the fit as you go, so that you don't end up with an overly-loose lid.
