This project is a collaboration between the STEM and Art department at our school, making this a true STEAM project. We are a 1:1 chromebook district. The concept is for my STEM students to use the parameters in BlocksCAD to modify a loom that is the appropriate dimension for a knitted chromebook case. We will print these out and give them to the Art class, where they can use them to knit cases for our district chromebooks. This project can be used to teach coding, CAD, 3d printing, knitting and parametric design through cross curricular cooperation.
