Summary I made these to test my Makerbot 2X (it was being funny). It's good for testing sharp corners and flat surfaces. The OpenSCAD file pictures show up all weird and hollow... But they're not actually like that if you render them! How I Designed This Linearly extruded and twisted a square in OpenSCAD with low resolution (between 2 and 6 slices) to make it satisfyingly angular rather than nice and smooth.
