LEVELING FEET - MONOPRICE MAKER SELECT PLUS 3D PRINTER
1ST JAN 2018
With a severe incline on my basement floor I needed to level my Monoprice Maker Select Plus 3D printer. I tried shimming the legs under the desk but this was unsightly.
I decided that making adjustable feet for the printer would be the best way to go. After purchasing Coach ( or carriage ) screws 1/4"-20 x 2" lg (qty 6) and 1/4"-20 nuts (qty 18 ) I modeled up the parts on Autodesk 'Fusion 360'. The head dia of the lag screw was 14.5mm and the nuts were 10.9 MM across flats x 5.5 MM thick.
After assembling the parts and installing the foot assemblies on the printer it was simple to level it. Hope this works for you.
