Summary This is an upgrade for the CTC Prusa i3 DIY which allows the use of a MK8 extruder as shown in the pictures (£19.95 on eBay). The only modification to the wiring is the middle 2 wires to the stepper motor need to be reversed. the print head sits about 1.5 cm left of the original location and so gives a larger print than the original. The bracket for the 3D touch was part of the design as the the CTC has nowhere for a bed leveling sensor to be fitted. This does require a firmware upgrade for the 3D Touch to work (not recommended by CTC) Print Settings Printer: CTC Prusa i3 DIY Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: Fine Infill: 30% Notes: I printed with PLA, but maybe PETG would be a better choice.
