Shifter Boot for H box
Free
Summary I designed a shifter boot for the H box. Makes it seem a little more like my old 86 Toyota. To make the boot a bit more realistic I added a bead of solder around the shifter to keep the boot down so it would flex like a real boot when shifting. You have to be quick with the solder because the shifter gets really hot and begins to melt the top of the boot. The way I figured out where to apply the bead is take the shifter out of the housing and pull the shift ball up into the boot and apply a couple small bumps on the shifter where you want the bead. Then take the shifter apart and finish so you wont melt the boot. Enjoy Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 90 Notes: Use a brim and set your in fill to 90%. I drilled 4 holes on the top of the H box and used m2 screws to attach it to the top of the H box. Its only 1 shell thick so you might have to slow your printer down. Printed with Ninja Flex.
