Orchid cuff's design is based on a pattern I created by simplifying an orchid flower into geometric shapes, much like Arabic or Japanese patterns. I wanted to showcase the potential of 3d printing without having the design look cheap or 3d printed per se. The cuff can be printed in any material, but suggested are glazed ceramic with metal endings. The linkage element can be printed from flexible filament, or to save costs, regular rubber bands can be used just as effectively. All provided elements must be printed in 3 copies.
