I built this for my wife. It slides on from the top and is a friction hold so don't pick up your Nuvi holding the shade. SD card and power switch are both accessible. No interference with standard Garmin mount. Printed with 0.35mm/0.2mm layer height @ 205/200°C (1st/2nd +) , a 0.4mm nozzle, 2 perimeters-top-bottom, 15% infill, and 70 mm/sec. It takes about 3 hours and 13m of 1.75mm filament. I used black PLA. If you leave your unit in the window it is probably better to print with ABS. I didn't have any black ABS so I may have to print it again. Included is a test file if you need to verify your printer sizing. It take about 2.7m and 32 minutes to print.
