This is a 3-part phone holder for phones that we carry in a thick leather wallet case. The 4th part is a dashboard mounting bracket for ford mustang 2018. The 4 parts put together are mounted in my car. If you have another type of car, then you have to design or buy your own vent or dash mount, then attache the 3-part phone holder to it with 4 screws. Previously I indicated (in the assy dwg) to use a spring with 0.5mm wire thickness. That will not be strong enough, so 0.7mm thickness preferred.
