The function of this product is to hold your phone while you are busy doing another activities. I use it to see the news while I am having my lunch. It amplify the sound of your phone by 15 dB. Another scenario where it is very useful is when I am working with my computer, I need all the power of my machine to use the 3D cad programs so, I use this phone holder to use my phone to have a film as a second plane.

It is ideal for phones that have its micro underneath. The size of this usb is 10 mm wide x 6 mm high. Probably you can go across the holder with a bigger usb connection but i I have not tried it.
