For PLA printing extra cooling fans go a long way in making better prints. Helps give much sharper prints and increases the ability to bridge. I've tried a bunch of 40mm fans mounted to the print head. I didn't like this as it adds weight to the print carriage and it made it more difficult to see the printing process especially the first layers. So I duct taped a computer fan to the front of the machine and it tested great. Just added a 12v ac adapter and good to go.
