Ventech Durable half mask respirator equipment optimized for FDM printing.
Uniquely designed from the ground up the "Ventech" respirator is a print-ready dustmask alternative which, when properly constructed and sanitized, may provide a versatile protective shield from pollutants, droplets, and other potential hazardous conditions.
The Ventech Respirator Mask is not medical certified and should not be considered a substitute for any NIOSH air filtration rated PPE. Currently scarce N95 masks have been used by medical professionals since 1972[1], and it is essential they are reserved for those on the front-line. That said, this modern solution is intended to provide protection with comfort and printability in mind
Features
• Reusable filtration system that can accommodate readily available household items including fabric, towel, and makeup pads allow for flexible usage and frequent exchangeability[2].
• Antimicrobial Copper disc insert provides additional safety measures. The metal is scientifically proven to inhibit the spread of virus’s and bacteria[3].
• Essential Exhalation valve for eliminating CO2 build-up, a common issue with other diy masks currently available to the 3d printing community. Helping protect you and your fellow human while safely providing easy breathing.
• TPU mask seal, a critical safety component against dangerous particulates, helps to achieve maximum comfort during prolonged wear. Print-friendly tested with TPU shore 85A ensures the mask seal passes Qualitative fit testing[4].
