This is a spare part for mercedes-Benz W123. The wood panel in the middel console (big hole for the shifter), has a holder plate aft side with a spike that fits into the console. if it is broken, the plate rises up at the back.
This part fits into the wood version of the panel, just renew the staples or add some glue.
