The F123 spindle holds aftermarket dongle repair device (DRD) which attaches to OEM board. The DRD requires 2 AA cells that are held in a battery case. The battery case can be mounted on spindle by printing the battery holder shells and attaching the shells to spindle. The shells allow for a standard 50mm spool arbor. Alternately, if you don't want to print the shells, the battery case can be placed on a surface near the spindle DRD using double sided tape or velcro. You can then re-use the OEM spool on the spindle.
