I'll likely be CNCing this from 50mm EPS foam. Designed for a rider around 100KG for slower unifoiling, long profile has no need for a fuselage or stabiliser. Despite deep middle part of profile this is over 450mm front to tail so it has a low thickness to chord ratio of around 8.9% Dimensions:
wingtip to wingtip: 600mm
Chord at centre:450mm
Thickness: Approx 40mm at centre of wing.
Block thickness for CNC: 50mm
Update 16/1/2021 I cut a thinner version of the wing, approx 3/5 of the thickness of this model on my cnc machine. Very nimble, fun foil to ride. Only had the one time to ride it yet, need a bit more wind or wing for my 105kg but it's a fun foil to ride. Fun enough that I've now printed out the 4 parts of the wing and glassed it. Testing after I complete my current on-call cycle!.
I found that a 10mm brim and printing only one piece at a time is the most practical way to get a quality result. Still warps slightly but a bit of acrylic filler sorts that out. I made the socket to fit an F-one or gong mast after packing with cloth and blending from the core to the sides and middle.
