Spout for 1 Gallon metal can
Free

With a 1 gallon can, I have trouble pouring Acetone into smaller bottles for ABS juice without spilling it. So I made this. It allows you to slowly pour directly into small containers without spilling. It doesn't have an air vent so you have to go slow. No more spills. Cannot be made out of ABS if it is to be used with any petroleum distillates (including acetone). You may have to sand the base ring on the spout when assembling because its a tight fit. Created with Sketchup and OpenSCAD. UPDATE: (9/10/2015) I replaced the spout with a new one that has a flat exit hole in an attempt to reduce any splashing due to gurgling. Instructions: I used PLA and it works with acetone. It did discolor but not dissolve. Some PLA contains additives that are susceptible to acetone so your results may vary. Nylon would be best for petroleum distillates. Printed on a MendelMax 1.5.
