Summary A solution for penny based miniatures to sit next go gunners. Center of my photo is my original 1.25" Dia. punched polystyrene card containing a Battlefront Miniatures (makers of Flames of War and Team Yankee) Soviet AT-4 gunner and assistant. Flanking it is my primed bases containing some Khurasan Miniatures Soviet Motorized Rifle PK gunners and assistants. To the rear, are the grey ABS prints. Depending on the size of the gunner, the assistant can sit nice in the depression I created for them until the gunnery team takes casualties. Then the assistant can bite it first leaving the gunner (glued to base, or if you want to try miniature magnets, be my guest...). Just my solution to my various game rule requirements (mostly Ambush Alley "Force on Force" and Ground Zero Games "Stargrunt II" or "Dirtside II"), and personal tastes in basing my miniatures.
