Summary Video about the Spiral Yo Yo https://youtu.be/OPASUKW2H9s I wanted to create a more sturdy version of the wax paper one I remembered as a kid. After a year and a half I finally got it to where I can release it. This is a very difficult print and many printers will not be able to handle it. Pay special attention to the print setting notes because this requires very particular settings. Print Settings Printer: Raise 3D N2+ Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: If your printer is sloppy in x/y or has z wobble the rings will fuse together and it won't work. It is critical that the first layer isn't smashed into the build plate like you normally would or the bottom rings will fuse together. I get around this by using a raft and having the maximum space between the raft and print where the spiral will still lay down. You must either have a small diameter nozzle (0.25/0.3) or use a 0.4 nozzle and software that will adjust for thin line extrusions (like Simplify 3D Version 4.0). If you use a 0.4mm nozzle with software that doesn't adjust for thin lines the yo yo will be too stiff.
