Summary This is a tensioner for the wire so it can change length and still have the same tension. It uses an continuous rotating servo and an Arduino Pro Mini. The hot wire is winded up on the servo spool then over the small ball bearing down to the guide ring and from there to the other side of the CNC hot wire cutter Z axis. It's position is vertikal so the wire makes an 90 degree bend at the guide ring. The potentiometer is in the same range as the original potentiometer from the servo. It adjusts in the code anyway. The code is just a simple servo movement with potentiometer, nothing more.
