This part was designed for my direct drive extruder's stepper motor. I needed a clean way for the wiring harness (in tech flex sheath) to connect to the nema 17 stepper motor so as to not get in the way of other component swaps. I removed the stepper motors' body screws and replaced them with slightly longer M3 screws (will vary based on your motor's lamination height). It has openings for the harness, wire spill and zip tie retention. Mine is printed in ABS and it works really well. The OpenSCAD file is not very well-commented, but is included nonetheless. (delete the .txt extension)
