Machine #1 for decorating eggs. Great to help you decorate Easter eggs or other party eggs. Machine #2 would be the "y" axis.
A better design would be to use two stepper motors and a sort of egg shaped shell that holds the egg in place. This design is just an easy quick print a few parts and snap them together using a continuous rotating miniServo and a $2 servo tester.
