The idea here is so that the parrot stretches its feet and has a somewhat flat perch. Cut the 1/2" ... 12.7mm wooden dowel rods to any length ... glue the perch brackets into the elbows so they don't turn inside the elbow and tip your parrot off its perch. The rods might be glued into the bracket too so the perch doesn't separate. The rest of the frame is 1" PVC pipe and fittings.
