Summary
This is an adjustable rebate (rabbet) plane which can use a standard chisel as the cutting iron.
(These types of planes are used for cutting a slot along the edge of a board.)

These settings seem like a pretty fair compromise between speed (print still takes several hours), plastic usage, and strength.

Conclusion
I enjoyed the challenge of designing and making this, but after experiencing how long it took to print and how much plastic was used, I think that following Seller's lead and making one out of wood, would be a far better approachr. TODO
There are still some problems with this design, mostly the width of the chisel+wedge gap is far too small to fit. :_(
