Summary Ordered a E3Dv6 extruder. So i decided to built a X carriage for it. Using the measurements on the E3D website for the V6, i made this design so the hot end tip will be exactly on the same location of the stock Hictop hot end. This will save me having to make changes to home. This bracket has a modified section for also using the Hictop auto bed leveling sensor they sell, and a mount for stock extruder Fan. EDIT -For those who asked. The fan cover im using is thing 1750976 and the fan duct is thingi 510957. UPDATE 3/19/2017 Added another mm to the thickness of the base for better strength and removed unnecessary counter sinks. UPDATE: 7/19/2017 Separated all the parts per request of user saying repetier didnt properly separate the parts Print Settings Printer: Hictop Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.12 Infill: 75% Notes: Using S3D Print the bottom 5mm at 100% infill, the rest at 75% for a strong base.
