I am an engineer by trade, but in my free time, I use 3D printing for both rapid prototyping and functional parts on various projects. My designs are optimized for 3d printing. The parts are designed to minimize support material, increase/optimize strength, and reduce unnecessary material use. Any model listed has been printed and tested.
